Richelieu Rock Liveaboard - February 21st-23rd

Here are some photos from the Wicked Parinee Liveaboard to the Similan Marine Park and Richelieu Rock - enjoy! Hope they bring back memories of fun times in Thailand!

Starting with a great breakfast impeccably prepared by our super chefs P’Nui and P’Taai, we already knew we were off to an awesome
three days at sea!

Check dive at Boonsung Wreck was a very fishy start to the trip. Stonefish, Scorpion fish, Ornate Ghost Pipefish and countless Snapper and Yellow Tail Barracuda to name a few. Great 2nd dive at Koh Bon with Octopus, Sea snakes and Leafy Scorpion fish. Finishing day one with a dive in the dark at Koh Tachai reef with hunting Barracuda!!!

Next day was the “SPECIAL DEAL RICHELIEU” day. Hope you guys loved it as much as we did (could you tell we were a little excited?!!). Over the Four dives we were lucky to see Seahorses, Harlequin Shrimps, GIANT Potato Grouper and a NURSE SHARK! Sunset dive was particularly special with two schools of Barracuda, hunting fish, snappers, fusilier and glass fish making a fish bonanza.

Final Day it was two dives at Koh Tachai. Anyone find the secret pinnacle? Leopard and Black Tip Reef Sharks, Khuls Stingrays and a Turtle were a nice way to end the trip.

And of course, as with any Wicked trip, not only diving but lot of fun. Sanna won the prize for the best serial killer with hertooth brush. We also now have some new Rumikub addicts who will be buying their own set as soon as they hit Bangkok!

Congratulations to Colin’s new Advanced divers Ryan, Katie and Nan who were kind enough to put up with Colin for us! ;)

Tonje completed her deep dive with Tuk and can now explore to 30m.

Nina’s team of Sanna, Yochai, Talal and Lance and Tuk’s team of Linda, Suzanne, Carsten and Mireille were all lucky enough to see the Nurse Shark at Richelieu.

Party time on the dive deck was lots of fun. If any of you have a video of it we’d love to see it.

A special thank to Capt. Khaw for cruising us safely to dive sites and back home, P’Matt and P’Toon for their help on the dive deck.

Overall, we hope you all had a wonderful trip, thanks again for being such a great fun-loving group of people, you made the trip more of a holiday than a job for us - it was brilliant to meet you all & get to share the diving experiences with you.

If anyone's got any photos they'd like to show off, you can upload them to our Facebook group, we'd love to share your memories of the trip!

We hope you can join us for some Komodo Diving - or Khao Sok!
