SIMILAN ISLANDS LIVEABOARD TRIP # 22 (11/01/09)

"GOOD MORNING"
The trip to paradise has returned. 3 days and 2 nights on The MV Angel Parinee with Tuk as trip leader, Ricky and Church leading the fundivers. A diverse group of international fun divers we've got for this one: Rich and Amanda from the UK. good old friends from Koh Tao and their first visited to the Similans, Canadian team Ty, Daniel, Berm, Ali, Adam and Kym, and Mr.Jamie from the UK! Also Gabi from Germany, Slim from France and Guido from Italy-his 4th trip of the season with WICKED, "keep going, Guido"

The first location for our journey was Koh Bon, even without Manta Rays - the reef was beautiful, lots of Lionfish, Banded Sea Snake, and even a Sea Turtle (which I have never seen it in this place before)! Shark Fin Reef with a feeding Sea Turtle and a White Tip Reef Shark. After breakfast we moved up north to Anita's Reef which has fantastic soft coral. Oh Yeah!! AND a NEW discovery... The Tuk's Pipefish-That was so cool!. Check it out....CAN YOU IDENTIFY IT (I will put up an image all by itself asap)!? There area many discussions going on over here on what exactly the little discovery is?! West Of Eden with some massive Tuna before we headed back to Honeymoon Bay for our adventure at night-night dives where this time we saw a Giant Moray Eel the hunting and a huge lobster. Elephant Head Rock - stunning as always, and the last spot of the trip... Boonsung Wreck, the most popular local dive spot with lots of different marine life all over the place-a MUST SEE if you are in the area!

FUN CORNER!
This is the pic of the rock Italian boy we known as Guido. His 100th dive. By the rule of scuba diver (100 naked dive) but since he was out for his 4th trip already, we nicely covered him up a little bit with costume design by Kym. A good sport, he loved it all and even wore the cosutme for the (100) dive. "No wonder we end up doing 2 dives at Koh Bon without Manta Rays-what do you say, Guido??"

- We'd like to thank you guys for your visit, we're glad to be apart of your holiday. We hope you guys enjoyed it and see you again in the future for another great trip on our Similan Liveaboard. Enjoy traveling and have a safe journey home.

Awesome awesome awesome trip :)

Diving was fantastic, and the guys on the boat were brilliant.

Although I do blame Guido in his 100 dive get-up for scaring off the mantas ;)

Looking forward to the next trip...
