Wicked Diving - Similan Liveaboard March 31st - April 2nd

Similan Liveaboard Adventure!

Therese, Diego, Sam and Flor took a fantastic group of guests around the Northern Similan islands on this trip - Guid was back for yet another liveaboard with his dive buddy Diego, joined by Cedric, Gilles, Myriam, Valerie, Glenn, Darlene and Caroline.

Current divemasters in training Lucy, Mick, Davis and Kasper were also on the trip to experience life onboard the Parinee, helping out with daily life on the boat and working with instructor Diego on aspects of their DMT programmes, including dive briefings, practicing swimtests and assisting with divers.

West of Eden, Anita's Reef and North Point all proved to be a minefield of macro, with ornate ghost pipefish everywhere! Huge spiny painted lobsters on the night dives, and turtles at North Point - there's so much to see whilst diving, remember to take it slow, and take it all in!

Traditionally in the world of diving, your hundredth dive should be conducted in your birthday suit - here at Wicked we like to provide a slightly less revealing suit, but put every effort into making it a truly memorable dive!

Valerie celebrated her 100th dive on the trip in a stunning super hero-esque costume made up of a towel-cape and inflated surgical gloves in her hair - congrats on notching up the dives, here's to many more!

The west ridge of Koh Bon really is a beautiful divesite, the topography is breathtaking, and you can spend an entire dive swimming up and down each side of the ridge, the amount of marine life hidden out among the rocks is fantastic.

This trip we lucked out, as well as morays, lionfish, seasnake and napoleon wrasse, the last dive of the trip provided guests with a chance to dive with the infamous Koh Bon manta rays. The mantas swim in to the cleaning stations on the coral, so all you have to do is hover just nearby, and watch the manta gymnastics in action!

Thanks Guido for the photos :)
