Therese, Tuk and Diego lead our guests through some of the best dive sites in Thailand on this Richelieu Rock liveaboard trip. David, from Digital Aquatic, filmed it all (available for purchase)
Visiting Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu rock, and event he Surin Islands - Wicked Diving impressed all with the great conditions. On the boat...mother Earth did all the rest :)
Captain Kaew brought everyone safely through the islands, while Poh and Nuk took care of the tanks, gear and guests. Of course Pi Pa and Pi Lek feed some enormous, tasty meals to everyone. Jos, Henna and Annette joined the trips as DMT's (lucky students!)
Sonya, Ben, Darryl, Pru, Steve, Emma & Emma, Fiona, James, Joanna were onboard for this trip.
Darryl, Pru, Steve, Emma all did their Open Water course and Emma S. did her Advanced course.
But hey - Everyone came for the marine life? Right?
And it ROCKED! the amount and diversity of life on Richelieu and the other dive sites was incredible. The Glassfish were out in huge numbers!
True highlights - The Seahorse, Sea Snakes, Harlequin Shrimps and even some mating Cuttlefish.
The weather was great with clear night skies that seemed to go on forever. It's tough being parked on a boat in the middle of remote, uninhabited islands.
Underwater is was even better. At Richelieu the viz was 30 meters and fish everywhere! Jos and Annette said they would come back again and again just to dive Richelieu ;) (or were they just hinting that we should put them on the next trip?)

Thanks especially to Diego for being so patient with us taking pictures. We REALLY appreciated being in our own group - we didn't feel bad for "holding people back". worked out perfectly THANKS!"
