SIMILAN ISLANDS LIVEABOARD TRIP # 33 (17-19/02/09)

"SA WAD DEE... Similan Islands"

We gladly welcome everybody on board "Angel Parinee" set off the trip to paradise in the Similan Islands. The great diver's vacation on a liveaboard. 3 days out this time and we've got Tuk was the trip leader, buddy up with Ricky from Ireland who took a group of Wicked Open Water Diver students on tour this time. Church the Austrian divemaster and Thomas also came along and our brand new canadian DMT's... Brad and Christie out for their first time to The Similans.

The first dive location was Bangu Bay, island #9 and Turtle Rock, easy start with fascinating boulder formations. West Of Eden was fabulous for an early dive with tons of Blue Spotted Stingrays, Frogfish (pinky) and the beauty Ghost Pipefish. East Of Eden is always amazing, and most of the time with Turtles swimming around us during the surface interval...that was a lovely one! Donald Duck Bay exploration and the most popular view point "Sail Rock" lots of WICKED photographs this time and then we headed to Beacon Reef for sunset and night dives. Awesome night dive at the Atlantis wreck with hundreads of Lionfish and other creatures at night. Wake up called at 6:45 this time for the perfect early dive at North Point, adventure swim throughs and beautiful Giant Seafans, lots of different small and large marine life to see. Breakfast Bend is always nice and easy to dive at, and this time around we found an Octopus, school of Tunas and much more. Koh Bon was the last station for our journey this tour. Manta Ray (??) ..."Did you see one?" ...was the most popular question after the dive and the answer... "N a h!"

Very nice, relax and lovely sunset on the back, delicious snacks from P'Pa (the best cook on any liveaboard)

The trip has been really nice condition at the Similans and great company from all of you guys and we'd like to thank you for your visit. We'd also like to congratulate 5 new Open Water Divers Adam H.& Adam G., Patricia, Christopher and Rebecca. The higher level of scuba diving new Advanced Open Water Diver Gergely. All of our fun divers and snorkelers Evaldas and Jureta, Dom from UK, Christa from USA., Sara and Eli from Canada and Bianca, the next Wicked Diving DMT. Hopefully you guys had a great time I know we did. We look forward for your return to our home in paradise again soon.... your"Wicked Diving Family".
