Today was the first lecture on preventing diving accidents this season. Presented By Dr. Luba and our new Evacuation Manager - Sonia Scott! This took place at the new SSS Network Khao Lak Evacuation Center. Manned 24 hours a day, with nurses, ambulance and of course our team of dive medics - Khao Lak now has impeccable safety standards!
With more than 35 instructors in attendance - it was a success. Especially since most staff are out diving already! But with several shop managers and Lead Instructors in attendance the message will get out there!
As with all things Diving Safety - There is no shop that compares to Wicked Diving! With TWO Dive Medics On Staff, All Staff DAN Certified (we do refreshers tomorrow), as well as three Instructor Trainers on staff there is no doubt about our fierce drive for safety!
In the next week we are offering First Aid Courses, Oxygen in Diving accident courses, Neurological Exams for Divers as well as our in-house safety training. When you are on the boat - you just might get to experience one of our monthly rescue assessments of all staff.
