Our Similan Liveaboard - The Parinee!

After getting repainted, redone and all pretty for the season ahead our boat, the M/V Parinee is on the way up to our local pier. Her hull was checked over, repainted, the propeller rebalanced and the engines overhauled.

The septic tank is all cleaned and fresh, the pumps and water pump are all up to date. We will be installing the radar later (seems like there is some electronic problem - beyond our comprehension, so off to the service center we go).

Since last June the compressors have been taken down, cleaned and overhauled. The tanks have been inspected. All our equipment has been serviced and is ready for diving! I would encourage you to ask about our service records! We keep meticulous records of all equipment and when where and why it was serviced. We also only only factory trained and certified technicians to service our equipment. Why not ask the other shops about that...In an industry where your life depends on reliable, safe equipment - is it worth saving money?

Anyhow, enough crap talking! We should be going out and doing dry runs next week! Then we begin our local trips. Come on down - do a local wreck dive or two. Enjoy Khao Lak in the quiet times.

This is our favorite time of year - all the stuff is shiny and new, we are energized and ready to dive, the fish are out in huge numbers and we can enjoy the quiet evenings with cold beer and sunsets.
