Had a late lunch today with friends and the beach was so soothing. Also very empty! This time of year makes for the best beaches here - especially at low tide. Long stretches of empty beaches, gorgeous sunsets and the water is still 29.
Was eating at our favorite place - Coconut Grove.
Lots of ugly new developments around there - including the really horrible new house. someone bought beach front property right in the middle of the resorts and built a really silly house. Thank god for bad taste and too much money. At least all the tourists get to walk right up to their house - there are no private beaches in Thailand!
