Khao Lak Diving and weather October 1, 2007

Crappy!

We had several days of good weather and we prepared for a nice start to the season, but we just got clobbered with another monsoon and it is predicted to be a few days.

But you've never seen anything quite so green! And we are lined up for an estimated total of 4200 mm of rain...to translate that....that's about 15 feet of rain. It didn't all fall this month, but on days like today it feels like it.

But hopefully this gets all the rain out of the way for the upcoming season and we are going to such a rich year for marine life that it will probably be one of the best year's ever.

We are getting all our cameras lined up and preparing for some insane opportunities. I don't want to speak too loudly, but these are great conditions fro whale sharks. The Plankton feeders of all kinds - Whale sharks, Manta's, even damsel fish!

And of course.....
